We release minor updates to Breadwinner several times a month and automatically push these to your org. However, for updates that include new tabs and objects, you have to manually re-install Breadwinner yourself. We've tried to make this process as easy as possible for you, and it will only take 5-10 minutes of your time.
You should be a Salesforce Admin to do this. You will not need login access to Xero to perform this update.
Updating - Re-Installing
Install Breadwinner from the AppExchange again. Do not uninstall first! You can just install again by clicking Get It Now. You will probably have to login to the AppExchange. If it asks, chose Production, not Sandbox. You will likely have to click Next a few times. And, if it asks, make sure you install for "All Users". You can set security per user later, but it's much much easier to grant for all users here and then remove security later on.
The installation might take several minutes. Once it's completed (you might have to wait up to 5 minutes) you can go to the Breadwinner tab and finish configuration.
Navigate to the Breadwinner tab
Once you have upgraded Breadwinner to 2.0, you will be able to go to the Breadwinner tab. We recommend you start off by going to the Breadwinner App first. Here are the screenshots of what you will need to click to get to the Breadwinner App.
Update your Page Layouts
If you have Salesforce Enterprise Edition, or Salesforce Professional Edition with the API, you can update your Page Layouts in just a few clicks. Towards the bottom of the Breadwinner tab you will see "Update Breadwinner 2.0 Page Layouts". Click on this.
You will see a button appear below that, asking you to confirm. Please click on that.
That's it! You have successfully updated Breadwinner to Breadwinner 2.0.

You'll have Three new tabs in the Breadwinner app. (You may have to refresh the page to see them the first time).
The Xero Contacts is a new tab but for an existing object, what was formerly known as the Breadwinner Account Connection (BAC). The Line Items and Payments are new tabs for new objects, but you have to be on Breadwinner Professional and up to use them. And, you will have to restart your Invoice Sync to see them even if you are on Breadwinner Professional.
New Confirmation Options
Some of these options are entirely new, others may have been there for several months now but are now consolidated into one easy to access screen. This is accessible from the Invoice Confirmation section of the Breadwinner tab.

We've added lots of fields to the Xero Contact object, and in the next few months you'll be able to edit the Xero Contact right from Breadwinner. This feature will be pushed to you automatically, and will appear on both the Xero Contact record, and while creating an Invoice.
